Oak Grove School is committed to maintaining an accessible website for all users. We ensure our website and any official web presence—whether developed by us or third-party vendors—complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504, and Title II. Our goal is to provide all users, including those with disabilities, equal access to information, interactions, and services without discrimination. All web content—whether created by Oak Grove School or third-party developers—will meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level A, with a commitment to achieving Level AA. This applies to all new, updated, and existing content.
Reporting Accessibility Concerns
Anyone experiencing accessibility issues with our website may file a complaint with a school administrator or the District Webmaster at webmaster@ogschool.org.
We will respond promptly, ensuring access to requested information without delay. Formal complaints should be submitted in writing and include:
- Name
- Address
- Date of Complaint
- Description of the Issue
- Webpage URL
- Desired Solution
- Contact Information (Email & Phone)
Complaint Resolution Process
- Investigation – The Webmaster or a designated official will review complaints within 15 working days (extensions require approval).
- Report – A written summary of findings and resolutions will be prepared within 5 working days of the investigation’s completion.
- Follow-up – The Complainant will be contacted to discuss findings and any corrective actions.
- Record Keeping – All complaints and resolutions will be documented at the Oak Grove School District Office.
ADA Compliance Commitments
Oak Grove School is dedicated to ongoing improvements in website accessibility by:
- Ensuring the website template meets ADA compliance standards.
- Making PDFs, videos, and images accessible, including captions, transcripts, and alt-text.
- Providing staff with guidelines for uploading accessible content.
- Regularly monitoring website accessibility with the WAVE Evaluation Tool and addressing issues.
- Staying updated on evolving ADA compliance best practices.
