TAG English Language Arts

Our TAG English Language Arts courses are designed to meet the needs of gifted and talented learners through rigorous reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities. Students explore a variety of units, topics, texts, and types of writing through use of the core-curricular materials as well as a specialized curriculum meant for gifted students called William & Mary Gifted Language Arts, 3rd edition. Students learn grade level standards as well as one grade level above. By school year 2025-2026, the courses will be accelerated in which teachers will exclusively utilize the William & Mary curriculum to deliver instruction.
