Ryan Murray

Ryan Murray is a student-centered educator who believes in supporting the whole child. Mr. Murray values communication, collaboration, and providing equitable opportunities for all members of the Oak Grove community. He looks forward to his continued commitment to the Oak Grove community.

Mr. Murray came to Oak Grove during the 2019-2020 school year as the Social Emotional and Behavior Coordinator. Mr. Murray was moved into the Assistant Principal role at the start of the 2021-2022 school year, then to K-8 principal in 2023-24. During his time in education, he has held various roles spanning the K-12 education system, including in the Anchorage School District and Grayslake School District 46. Mr. Murray earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education from St. Joseph’s University and his Master of Science Degree in Education from Capella University.
