Anna Edelson
8th grade Science
Anna Edelson joined Oak Grove School in August of 2008. Mrs. Edelson earned her Bachelor of Science and Education degree from Michigan State University in 2005 with a major in Biology and Secondary Education a minor in Chemistry. She is pursuing a Masters Degree in Educational Technology through Concordia University. After teaching in Michigan for a few years, Mrs. Edelson joined Oak Grove as the 8th grade science teacher, where she has remained for over 15 years.
Mrs. Edelson has worked in several different athletic and extracurricular roles over the years including the 8th grade Boys and Girls Volleyball coach, Fall Intramural coach, Track and Field head coach, Science Club advisor, OGS Honor Society advisor, Service Club advisor, and 8th Grade Graduation Video assistant. She has also served on several OGS committees including the 8th Grade PTO Liaison, Restorative Practices, MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support), and Curriculum Council. Her motto is, “Be good people. Make good choices. Do good things.”
