Cathie DeMoon

Cathie DeMoon joined the Board of Education in 2017.  She currently serves as the Board’s liaison on the Communication Committee and the Talented and Gifted (TAG) Committee.  In addition, she is the liaison to the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and has previously served as Board Vice President and representative to Special Education District of Lake County (SEDOL) meetings. Cathie holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in Education from DePaul University. She is the parent of three children who attend Oak Grove and Libertyville High School.
